Project Overview
Russian Agricultural Division (RAD) is incorporated in Russia, Altay territory. It is a 100% subsidiary of PAVA. It was established in 2008 to consolidate companies under OJSC PAVA with other agricultural companies. RAD’s objective is to become a large-scale producer of high-value agricultural feedstock including wheat, barley, rye, sunflower seeds, buckwheat, oats and peas to supply foreign and domestic markets.
RAD is principally engaged in the vertically integrated business of agriculture through farming, storing, drying and trading of cereal products (whether to its Parent company for further processing, or to domestic or overseas customers).
Russian Agricultural Division aims to acquire and cultivate agricultural land assets in Russia, primarily in South Western and Eastern Siberia and secondarily in other regions endowed with fertile agricultural land. The Company has selected Western and Eastern Siberia regions due to their historical and current fertility, as well as favourable climatic conditions. Comparatively low cost of lands, both acquired and leased, lends more opportunities to implementation of the project.
RAD’s objective is to become a successful and large-scale agricultural enterprise in Russia, using leading–edge technologies and modern machinery. From a wider perspective, RAD is a basis for the vertically integrated agroholding headed by PAVA, and it creates all the key benefits essential for leadership in the industry.
